About Me

I am a young rider based in Lincolnshire, not far from Lincoln.

I started show jumping horses BSJA at the end of 2010 whilst still having over 2 years left in ponies. I jumped JJ in the children on horses classes and having produced and owned him since a yearling made this even more special. All the hard work spent breaking him in, and producing him slowly is definitely paying off now, as I thoroughly enjoy competing him up to 1.40 level. My love for producing young horses up through the levels inspired my family to produce their own young stock and breeding program which has developed into Skelton Sports Horses.

My current top horse is Caramba, a 7 year old who I’ve just started to compete internationally as well as nationally, and have been selected with to jump at Bonheiden, Belgium in September, on the international experience program.

I am still in full time education, having achieved 12 A* to B grade GCSE’s and I am now studying Physics, Chemistry, Maths and the Study of Classical Civilisation at A level. Despite this I still find the time to compete at all the top shows in the country. When my busy schedule allows I occasionally have time to spend on days out with friends and on trips to the cinema which I find is a great way to relax. In spite of the little time to myself I have, I wouldn’t swap my horse immersed life for the world.

I am always looking for sponsors and horses to ride, if you have a horse you want riding, or are interested in advertising your business through a different type of advertising, I compete all over the country (and out of it!) at all levels and could be what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
